Mason Greenwood to wear No 11 for Manchester United in 2020/21 season
Premier League giants Manchester United have released new information about a change of numbers on Friday, September 4th.
One of the number changes sees young star striker Mason Greenwood take the number 11 shirt.
Greenwood wore the number 26 shirt last season and had an impressive season.
The youngster scored 11 league goals earning himself a nomination for the Premier League Young Player of the Season accolade and also his first call up to the senior England national team.
The number 11 was vacated by French striker Anthony Martial who switched to the number nine last season.
The number 11 is a significant number at Manchester United as it was made iconic by club legend Ryan Giggs.
