Alex Iwobi makes 1st Premier League appearance as Everton beat Crystal Palace
Super Eagles midfielder Alexander Iwobi has made his first Premier League appearance of the season.
Iwobi made his first appearance as Everton recorded a 2-1 away win against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.
Everton took the lead when Seamus Coleman’s cross was converted by Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
In the 26th minute Crystal Palace leveled through Cheikou Kouyate converting a ball from Andros Townsend
In the 40th minute Everton went ahead through a penalty converted by Richarlison
All the goals were scored in the first half and Everton tried to protect the lead in the second half.
In the 85th minute Carlo Ancelloti brought on Iwobi for James Rodriguez.
Iwobi’s showing comes after he scored against Fleetwood in midweek.
