Chuba Akpom scores on Middlesbrough debut against QPR
Nigerian striker Chuba Akpom scored on his debut for Middlesbrough.
Chuba Akpom was on target for Middlesbrough as they played out a 1-1 draw against Queens Park Rangers (QPR) in an English Championship encounter on Saturday, September 26th.
Akpom recently joined Middlesbrough from Greek first division side PAOK.
He scored the first goal of the game in the 19th minute from a ball by Paddy McNair.
QPR would find an equaliser through player of Nigerian descent Bright Osayi Samuel in the 28th minute.
They would be no goals in the second half as Middlesbrough and QPR shared the points.
