Gernot Rohr has handed an invitation to Genk’s striker, Paul Onuachu as a replacement for injured Moses Simon ahead of Super Eagles AFCON 2022 qualifiers against Sirrea-Leone.
Moses Simon was ruled out of the game after he picked up an injury in Nantes 3-0 loss to French Champions, PSG on Saturday.
Paul Onuachu is in top form for his side in the Belgian League 9 goals in 10 matches for his club.
Onuachu was also invited as a replacement for Victor Osimhen in last month’s international friendly matches against Algeria and Tunisia.
His invitation was confirmed in a tweet via the official Twitter page of the Nigeria Football Federation.
The tweet reads;

The newly-renovated Samuel Ogbemudia stadium will host the Super Eagles when they take on Sierra-Leone on the 13th of this month before the return fixture at the Siaka Stevens Stadium, Freetown four days later.
