Former Portsmouth defender, Sam Sodje has implored new West Brom manager, Sam Allardyce to sign Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa before the winter transfer window shuts down at the end of the month.
Sam Sodje, who also played for West Brom at some point in his career urged Sam Allardyce to bring Ahmed Musa the former Leicester City winger to the club because of his speed, eye for goal and he his experience.
The ex-Super Eagles defender revealed that the addition of Ahmed Musa to the club will improve the team greatly as they are currently struggling to get goals.
The Baggies have only managed 14 goals so far this season and Super Eagles defender, Semi Ajayi who has been in great form this season has contributed two and he’s the second-highest goal scorer at the club so far in the league.
Hence, the need to bring Ahmed Musa according to Sam Sodje.

Ahmed Musa will be a good signing because the way Sam Allardyce plays he’s going to look into playing counter-attack and he has always been a good manager to keep clubs up, so Musa will be a very good signing,” Sodje told
It’s going to be difficult, very hard, for them to stay up with the squad that they have but Musa will be a very good addition to the squad.
It’s a wonderful club, a family club, but they are in a very difficult situation at the moment.
Musa has pace, has an eye for a goal, and is experienced. If Musa comes in, they are going to play counter-attack where they can use his pace.
In the Premier League once you have paced it’s scary so he’d be a good signing if they sign him.
Ahmed Musa has been a free agent since October 2020 after he cancelled his contract with Saudi football league side, Al Nassr. He scored 14 goals in 62 appearances for the club.
