Nigerian striker, Steven Odey has made a quite amusing revelation on how religious tolerant he is.
Steven Odey revealed that although he is a Christian, he also observes Ramadan because he grew up with a lot of Muslim friends and he took part in other Islamic festivities while growing up.
Steven Odey revealed that the annual “ritual” has become part of him and he observes it yearly. The SC Amiens striker said this in a chat with OmaSports.
“My parents are Christians, but because I grew up with a lot of Muslim friends. I observe the Ramadan fasting and festivities and it’s become a part of me, even in Europe, I still observe Ramadan. As a result, I say Ramadan Kareem to all my Muslim brothers and sisters.”
The former MFMFC striker is currently on loan at SC Amiens in the French Division 2 from the Belgian league side, Genk.
He has registered 4 goals in 23 games this season.
