English Premier League side Fulham have tabled a £15m offer to Ajax Amsterdam for the transfer of Super Eagles defender, Calvin Bassey.
According to European football transfers expert, David Ornstein, the West London club are keen on bringing the former rangers defender to the Craven Cottage ahead of the new football season.

Calvin Bassey arrived at Ajax in the 2022/2023 summer from Rangers for £23m but has not exactly replicated his from at Rangers for the 36-time Dutch champions.
Despite playing 30 matches for Ajax last season, the 23-year-old versatile defender has been a subject of criticisms over his performances at the club since his arrival.
However, Marco Silva is hoping to get the defender as he looks to bolster his team’s defense ahead of the new football season.
Fulham conceded 53 goals last season in the league last season – the second highest among the teams that finished in the half of the 2022/2023 season.
Brighton have also shown interest in Calvin Bassey in recent weeks but Ajax are yet to decide on the future of the young Super Eagles defender who signed a five-year contract with the club in June 2022.
