Nigeria’s senior women’s basketball team DTigress recorded their second win at the ongoing Women’s Championship in Cameroun after a 20 point victory over Angola.
DTigress put the game beyond the reach of the Angolan ladies in the first quarter after they led by 13 points and they further extended their lead in the first half by 24 points.
Once again, 2019 MVP, Ezinne Kalu registered the most points – 12 while point gyard, Promise Amukamara had 10 points and 3 rebounds.
However, Angola’s Lucas.I was the star performer on the night with 19 points while her team mate Matiquite had 15 points.
The team have now qualified for the quarter-finals where they will take on one of the winners from the round of 16 play-offs.
