Nigeria’s men basketball team, D’Tigers have sent a note of warning to other African teams ahead of the 2021 Afrobasket championship after they rounded-off the qualifying series with a 6-0 victory.
D’Tigers finished the series undefeated having won all their games since last November to date and they signed out with a blow out victory over Mali.
Team captain, Ike Diogu was the star performer of the day as he recorded 20 points and 11 rebounds, in the 76-56 annihilation of the Malians.
Mike Gbinije and Keith Omoerah had 10 points respectively.

The 30th edition of the Afrobasket championship will take place at the newly-built Kigali Arena between the 24th of August and 5th of September, 2021.
The team will look to win their second-ever title after they won first in 2015.
