Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal has tabled an outrageous bid for Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen in the current summer transfer window
According to Sky Sports Al-Hilal have submitted a bid of €140m to Napoli for Osimhen.
The deal is reportedly worth about £1 million per week which would make him the African player with the highest wages.
However Osimhen and Napoli are yet to agree the terms or accept the Saudi Arabian club’s offer. Osimhen is currently has a contract with the reigning Italian champions until 2025.
Various elite talents like N’Golo Kante, Karim Benzema, Edouard Mendy, Riyad Mahrez and Cristiano Ronaldo have joined the Saudi Pro League this summer.
Osimhen was the top scorer in Serie A last season with 26 goals and four assists in 32 games in the division.
Al Hilal had earlier offered PSG £300m star for Kylian Mbappe who is in his final year of contract with the French champions. However, the 2018 world cup winner rejected the deal to join the Saudi club as the face-off between him and the club continues.
