Ansu Fati the hero as Barcelona beat Villarreal 4-0
Teenage sensation Ansu Fati was the hero for Barcelona as they beat Villarreal 4-0 in their first Spanish La Liga encounter on Sunday, September 27th.
Fati opened the scoring in the 15th minute when he converted a ball through to him by Jordi Alba.
He then scored his second in the 19th minute when he converted a ball through to him by Phillipe Coutinho.
Fati was brought down in the penalty box and Lionel Messi stepped up to convert the spot kick in the 35th minute for their third.
A cross by Messi was diverted by Pau Torres in the 45th minute to give Barcelona a four goal cushion at the halftime break.
There would be no goals in the second half as Barcelona held on for the win to start Ronald Koeman’s reign with three points.
