IBF, IBO, WBA, and WBO boxing heavyweight champion of the world Anthony Joshua has given his thoughts on racism at a Black Lives Matter protest in England.

Joshua who is British but of Nigerian descent led the protest in his home residence at Watford.

He posted a message on his official Instagram account which said, “Welcome to Watford! We are uniting our community, sparking discussions about economic change and education! Supported by the local council and police, but inspired by the black lives matter movement.”

Joshua also posted a video of the speed he gave at the protest on his official Instagram account.

At the protest he said, “We can no longer sit back and remain silent on these senseless, unlawful killings and sly racism on another human being – based on what? Only their skin colour.

“We need to speak out in peaceful demonstrations – just like today, so well done Watford.

“We must not use a demonstration for selfish motives and turn it into rioting and looting.”
