Super Eagles forward Anthony Nwakaeme was on target for Trabzonspor as they beat Goztepe 3-1 in a Turkey Super Lig 1 encounter played on Friday, June 12th.
It was Nwakaeme who put Trabzonspor in front in the 16th minute through an assist by Joao Pereira to give his side a narrow one-goal lead at the break.
Caleb Ekuban scored a penalty in the 52nd minute to give Trabzonspor a two-goal lead.
Alpaslan Ozturk pulled one back for Goztepe in the 57th minute.
Abdulkadir Omur sealed the game in the 84th minute to give Trabzonspor all three points.
Nwakaeme now has 14 goals and eight assists in the 2019/20 season.
