Arsenal football club on Saturday afternoon paid tribute to a 14-year-old fan Daniel Anjorin who was killed in a sword attack on Tuesday.
The Premier League side were granted permission by the Daniel’s parents as they appauded him and raised a banner in his name after 14 minutes against Bournemouth at the Emirates Stadium.
Daniel Anjorin, a student of Bancroft’s School in Hainault was attacked with a sword while walking to school.
The young boy died moments after he was rushed to the hospital.
He was described as a “true scholar” with a “positive nature and gentle character,” by his school.
A 30-year-old man Marcus Arduini Monzo has charged with the murder of the yoing boy.
