Awoniyi And Dennis Could Be Key To Nottingham Forest Premier League Hopes –Dosu
Former Nigerian goalkeeper Dosu Joseph says Super Eagles duo of Taiwo Awoniyi and Emmanuel Dennis could be key to Nottingham Forest’s Premier League hopes.
The Saints are keen to avoid relegation to the Championship this season but are currently 15th on the Premier League table
However Dosu feels that Awoniyi and Dennis could be vital to the Saints quest to avoid the drop.
“To be frank it’s a big task but I believe in the naija fighting spirit and I know Awoniyi and Dennis know what it means to remain in the Premier League,” Dosu said.
“For me I think goalscoring has been Nottingham Forest’s biggest headache and I believe Super Eagles stars are experienced enough to help their teams survive relegation.”
Awoniyi has scored four goals in 16 Premier League games this season while Dennis has got one goal and one assist in 10 Premier League games this season.
Forest are 15th on the Premier League table with 17 points from 18 games.
