Osimhen Hits Brace As Napoli Thrash Juventus
Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen scored a brace as his club Napoli thrashed Juventus at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.
The Partonepei gave Juventus a 5-1 drubbing today, January 13 as they tightened their grip on the Serie A title.
Osimhen scored the first goal of the game in the 14th minute and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia doubled his side’s lead 25 minutes later.
Argentine World Cup hero, Angel Di Maria reduced the deficit towards the end of the first half in what turned out to be the only goal for Juventus.
Amir Rrahmani made 3-1 10 minutes after the restart and red-hot striker Osimhen doubled his tally a little while later.
Macedonian midfielder Elif Elmas made it 5-1 in the 72nd minute.
The double takes Osimhen’s tally to a League leading 12 goals and three assists in 14 Serie A games.
Napoli are first in Serie A currently after garnering 47 points from 18 games.
