German Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich recorded a 3-0 win against French Ligue 1 side Lyon in a Champions League semifinal encounter played on Wednesday, August 19th.
Bayern Munich went in front as early as the 18th minute through Serge Gnabry.
Gnabry would double the lead for Bayern Munich in the 33rd minute converting a ball through to him by Robert Lewandowski.
Bayern Munich took a comfortable two-goal lead to the halftime break.
In the second half, Lyon tried to pull a comeback and the game was tight.
Bayern Munich would wrap up the game when tournament top-scorer Robert Lewandowski scored their third and his 14th of the competition from a ball through to him by Joshua Kimmich.
The win means Bayern Munich will face Paris Saint Germain in the 2019/20 Champions League side after the French Ligue 1 champions beat German side RB Leipzig in the other semifinal.
