Besiktas table bid for Super Eagles forward Onyekuru
Turkish Super Lig giants Besiktas are now in the lead in the chase to sign Super Eagles striker Henry Onyekuru.
The Black Eagles are poised to win the transfer war after Galatasaray cooled its bid for it’s once adored loanee.
The meeting between Gala top shots and Monaco went up in flames after both parties failed to agree over what the former Eupen star will earn as salary and bonuses.
Besides, Onyekuru seems to be at ease with Monaco’s new backroom staff and had declared his intention to fight for a place at The Principles.
But with Gala out of the picture, Besiktas then stepped up their chase and tabled a fresh offer to Monaco.
Everton reportedly received a 700000 euros loan fee for the 22 year old after Onyekuru joined Galatasaray on a season long loan in 2019.
He was signed by the Toffees in 2018 but was sent on loan to Anderlecht where he scored 10 goals in 27 games before his season was cut short due to injuries.
