It’s only a matter of hours before Barcelona officially announce the arrival of its legend, Xavi Hernandez as the new head coach of the club following the back of another legend, Ronald Koeman.
A statement from Xavi’s current team, Al Sadd indicates that an agreement has been reached for Xavi to resume as the new coach of Barcelona.
The sstatement reads;
“The Al-Sadd administration has agreed on Xavi’s move to Barcelona after the payment of the release clause stipulated in the contract. We’ve agreed on cooperation with Barcelona in the future”.
European football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano understands that the Barcelona legend will travel to Spain after meeting with the players and staffs of Al Sadd in the next few hours.
Xavi is currently planning for his final meeting with Al-Sadd players and staff in the next hours, then he’ll prepare his stuff and leave to Spain once the agreement between Barça and Al-Sadd will be officially completed. ⏳🇪🇸 #FCB

The 41-year-old played for the club between 2015 and 2019. He became the club’s manager on a two-year contract. He led the team to two knock out rounds of the AFC Champions League and he also won three domestic titles.
