President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo have become the first sect of government officials to receive COVID-19 vaccine in the country.
President Buhari was vaccinated at the New Banquet Hall in the Presidentail Villa by his physician, Dr Suhayb Sanusi some few minutes before midday.
Vice President Osinbajo, on the hand was vaccinated by his physician as well, Dr Dr. Nicholas Audifferen immediately after the President received his dosage.
On Tueday 2nd of March, the Nigerian Government took delivery of 3.924m doses of AstraZeneca vaccine which will be administered on Nigerians in due course.
However, some frontline health workers at the treatment center of the National Hospital in Abuja had already being vaccinated before the two principal officers of the nation.
