Super Eagles winger, Samuel Chukwueze will lot be available for selection as Villareal take on Manchester United in the Europa League final on Wednesday.
Chukwueze hasn’t featured for the Yellow Submarines after he picked up an injury in the one-all draw against Arsenal in the second leg of their Europa League fixture.
Unai Emery confirmed that Chukwueze will be absent from the game against the Red Devils as he didn’t recover in time for the match even though he traveled with the team to Poland.
“Samu has not been able to recover in time from the injury, but Foyth is fully available.”
The 22-year-old could become the fifth Nigerian to win the Europa League title (formerly known as UEFA Cup) after the likes of Taribo West and Kanu Nwankwo, (Inter Milan 1998), Chidi Odiah (CSKA Moscow 2005), Mikel Obi, and Victor Moses (Chelsea, 2013).
