Club Brugge will have to look elsewhere for alternatives to fill the gap left behind by Percy Tau, after 22-year-old British-Nigerian, Osayi Samuel rejected a chance to move to the BELGIAN Champions, according to a report by West London Sport.
With Brugge desperate to reinforce their attack, they quickly made their move for him in the transfer market, and Osayi Samuel would have become the first summer signing to join the Blauw-Zwart before a break down in agreement.
QPR reportedly wanted five million euros for the youngster who scored five goals and registered four assists last season.
An agreement was struck between the two clubs, and Osayi Samuel even travelled down to Belgium to conclude contract negotiations with the Blauw-Zwart.
But personal terms could not be agreed upon as Club Brugge’s offer fell short of what the Nigerian eligible youngster demanded.
