Christopher Howarth (born May 23, 1986) is an English football goalkeeper. He was born in Bolton, a large town in England’s Greater Manchester region. Christopher Howarth is 36 years old right now.
After earning England schoolboy honors in 2001, this tall and agile player was signed up by his hometown club Bolton under the Academy scholarship scheme, where he would spend three years under the supervision of the youth coaching team.
In 2005, he was given a four-year professional contract at Bolton as the understudy to more senior keepers like Jussi Jääskeläinen, Ian Walker, and Ali Al Habsi.
Howarth joined Stockport County on a month’s loan in January 2006[2], but returned to Bolton with no first-team experience. In July 2006, Howarth was linked with a season-long loan move to St Johnstone, but after a trial, the Saints dropped their interest in him.
Christopher Howarth joined Oldham Athletic on a month’s loan at the start of the 2006/2007 season, making his debut against Swansea City, saving a penalty taken by Swansea legend Lee Trundle. He later returned to The Reebok. Horwarth joined Carlisle United on loan until the end of the 2006-07 season on March 22, 2007, following Tony Williams’ loan move to Wrexham.
Christopher Howarth signed a two-year contract with Carlisle United on May 7, 2007.
He signed for Droylsden two days before the 2009/10 season. He was number two behind Craig Mawson but became the club’s main keeper when Mawson was released. In the summer of 2010, he joined Welsh club Rhyl before joining Garry Flitcroft’s Chorley in March 2011. In October 2011, he joined Salford City.
Christopher Howarth is no longer a goalkeeper for Salford City and should be nearing the end of his career. Although goalkeepers tend to improve as they age.
Christopher Howarth’s net worth is not publicly available. However, after playing football for nearly a decade, his net worth should be reasonable.
