Chukwueze registers assist, Kayode scores as Villarreal beat Sivasspor 5 – 3 in Europa League

Two Nigerian players Samuel Chukwueze and Olarenwaju Kayode were in action Villarreal beat Sivasspor 5-3 in an Europa League encounter played on Thursday, October 22nd.

Chukwueze set up Takefusa Kubo to score the first goal for Villarreal in the 13th minute.

Carlos Bacca converted a ball by Kubo to put Villarreal two up.

Kayode pulled one back for Sivasspor from a ball by Mustapha Yatabare in the 33rd minute.

Carlos Bacca missed a penalty in the 37th minute and in the 43rd minute Yatabare converted a ball by Robin Yalcinto level the scores going into the halftime break.

Juan Foyth converted a ball by Kubo in the 53rd minute to put Villarreal up but in the 64th minute, Max-Alain Gradel leveled the scores again for Sivasspor.

Paco Alcacer put Villarreal back in front in the 74th minute while scored the fifth from a ball by Foyth in the 78th minute to seal the win for Villarreal.

Chukwueze was in action for all 90 minutes while Kayode was in action for 82 minute before he was replaced by Arouna Kone.
