FIFA rankings: Super Eagles drop to 32nd spot, now 4th in Africa

Nigeria’s Super Eagles are now 32nd in the latest FIFA rankings and 4th in Africa.

Algeria overtook us by one single point. I did in my last post state that it was too close to call.

The other country that overtook us was Serbia who had three games in the international football window. They won one match and drew two.

There will be one last international window this year in November and both matches we play are competitive matches against Sierra Leone who we are expected to beat. Algeria are also expected to beat Zimbabwe.

Iran are expected to drop points as are Turkey, Russia, Venezuela and Serbia.

It is possible that we will see both Algeria and Nigeria end the year in the top 30, however, we will not pass Algeria and remain 4th in Africa.
