Chukwueze voted “young standout performer” in La Liga

Enterprising Nigerian forward and Villarreal star, Samuel Chukwueze has added another feather to his cap having been named among young standout performers of the 2019/2020 La Liga season.
According to a release by the league’s governing body on it’s website, the 21-year old was listed alongside Barcelona’s Ansu Fatu and Riqui Puig, Ferran Torres of Valencia, Martin Odegard of Real Sociedad and Real Madrid duo Vinicius Jr and Rodrygo as players whose talent, quality and maturity are beyond their years.
Chukwueze played a key role for the Castellon based outfit as his power, charisma and abilities made him a nightmare for his opponents, with five assists and three goals.
He joined the Yellow Submarines from Diamond Football Academy in 2017, two years after lifting the U-17 World Cup with Nigeria in Chile.
