Nigeria’s first all-sports daily newspaper Complete Sports is 25 years today! The newspaper kicked off a revolution in the media industry when it hit the newsstands on November 18, 1995 thus debunking the notion that an only-sports daily publication will not fly in the country.

Before its coming, sports news was confined to the back pages of mainstream newspapers.

Now, the most authoritative and longest running all-sports daily publication in Nigeria, Complete Sports is the pioneer for all other similar publications in the country and has also served as a training ground for a majority of today’s top sports journalists.
