Nottingham Forest coach Steve Cooper has lauded Nigerian striker Taiwo Awoniyi ahead of his team’s Premier League clash with Arsenal.
The Tricky Trees play Arsenal on Saturday, May 20 at City Ground.
Cooper urged Awoniyi to score in the forthcoming encounter.
“Performance wise he’s been excellent since he’s come into the mix,” Cooper said
“He needs to play well if selected on Saturday and then do everything he can to try and score again.”
Awoniyi has scored eight goals and recorded one assist in 25 Premier League games this term for Nottingham Forest.
Nottingham Forest are 16th on the Premier League table with 34 points from 36 games.
