Cristiano Ronaldo reacts after goal ruled out in Portugal’s draw against Serbia (video)
Cristiano Ronaldo put the ball past the goal line but it did not stand as Portugal recorded a 2-2 draw away against Serbia in a world cup qualification encounter played on Saturday, March 27th.
Ronald’s effort was clearly over the line but the referee did not count it and he received a yellow card for his complaints.
After the game, Ronaldo took to his official Instagram account to show his frustration with the decision.
He said, “Being captain of the Portugal team is one of the greatest pride and privileges of my life. I always give and will give everything for my country, that will never change.
But there are difficult times to deal with, especially when we feel that an entire nation is being harmed. Lift your head and face the next challenge now! Force, Portugal !”
