Portuguese captain, Cristiano Ronaldo has won the Golden Boot at the just concluded Euro2020 Championship.
Ronaldo scored five goals and one assist in four matches as the 2016 Champions failed to defend their title after losing to Belgium 1-0 in the second round.
His assist for Diogo Jota’s goal in the 4-2 loss to Germany in Munich ensured that the 36-year-old won the accolade despite being tied on goals with Czech Republic’s striker Patrik Shick.
Cristiano Ronaldo has now won the Golden Boot in the Premier League, Serie A, La Liga, and the European Championship – the first player to achieve such feat.
