De Bruyne leads nominees for PFA Players’ Player of the Year award
The Professional Footballers’ Association have revealed the nominees for the 2019/20 PFA Players’ Player of the Year award.
The nominees were revealed on Friday, September 4th with six nominations for each category.
The nominees for the Men’s award are four from champions Liverpool and two from runners up Manchester City.
The four nominees from Liverpool are Trent Alexander-Arnold, Virgil van Dijk, Jordan Henderson and Sadio Mané.
The two other nominees from Manchester City are Kevin De Bruyne and Raheem Sterling
For the women’s award the nominees are four from champions Chelsea and two from Arsenal.
The four nominees from Chelsea are Beth England, Sophie Ingle, Guro Reiten and Ji So-Yun.
The two other nominees from Arsenal are Kim Little and Vivianne Miedema.
