Demehin Relishes First FIFA Women’s World Cup

Stade de Reims defender Blessing Demehin is excited at the chance to play for the Super Falcons at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.

The aforementioned tournament will take place in Australia and New Zealand from July 20 to August 20.

Demehin was in the Super Falcons final list for the showpiece released by Coach Randy Waldrum.

The 21 year old took to Twitter to celebrate her maiden World Cup appearance.

“It’s a great honour and privilege to have made it to my first ever Senior Women’s World Cup. It’s a dream come true for me. This is my beginning of greater years and opportunities,” she Tweeted

Demehin represented the Falconets at 2022 U-20 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Costa Rica.

The Super Falcons have appeared at every FIFA Women’s World Cup since its inaugural edition in China 1991.
