D’Tigers and D’Tigress: Who are bachelors and spinsters in the Nigerian men’s and women’s basketball teams to Tokyo Olympics?

Aside from the slams, dunks, the alley-oops, the downtown threes or mid-court threes, and all other forms of play on the court, basketball has some of the cutest group of players and Nigeria’s D’Tigers and DTigress are not left out.

D’Tigers parades tall and handsome young men who keep the eyes of the ladies fixated on them on and off the court.

Even though some of these players are don’t reveal personal details about themselves on social media aside from pictures of themselves on and off the pitch, a good number of them are bachelors.

1. Ike Ireogbu

D'Tigers

Ike Ireogbu is 26 years old. He was born in Sacramento, California, he is a point guard and currently plays as a Point Guard for Rasta Vechta Basketball club in the German Bundesliga. Ireogbu is one of the key players in the D’Tigers. He won a silver medal at the 2017 frobasket in Tunisia/Senegal.

2. Jordan Nwora

D'Tigers

He’s the son of the coaching crew of the D’Tigers, Alex Nwora who clinched the Olympic ticket for the D’Tigers at the FIBA World Cup in China. He is 22 years old and he plays for Milwaukee Bucks in the NBA as a small forward.

3. Ben Uzoh

He plays for LNB Paris Pro B in France as a Point Guard. He was part of the team that won D’Tigers first-ever Afrobasket title in Tunisia in 2015. He is one of the regulars in the team since then.

4. Gabe Vincent

Gabe Vincent is no doubt one of the most handsome in the squad with his well-shaved moustache and brows. He plays for the Miami Heats in the NBA as a Point Guard. He was part of Nigeria’s team at the 2919 FIBA World Cup in China.

5. Josh Okogie

D'Tigers

He is a shooting guard who plays for the Minnesota Timberwolves in the NBA as a small forward. He stands at 6ftt tall and he’s one of the most good-looking men in the team. He also played at the Wokd

She is a centre/Forward and she plays for Flammes Carolo in France having previously played in Spain and the US. She is a two-time Afrobasket Champion.

If Ezinne is not playing basketball, then she models. Her smile is  magnetic or if you like contagious. She is also a two-time Afrobasket Champion and she was part of the team to the FIBA World Cup in Spain in 2018.

3. Promise Amukamara

A Point Guard for the national team as well as Charnay BB. Amukamara won Gold at the 2019 Afrobasket in Senegal and she also made an appearance at the FIBA World Cup in Spain in 2018.

4. Sarah Imovbioh

She plays for PEAC-Pécs as a center. She played the FIBA World Cup as well as the 2019 Afrobasket in Senegal.

5. Adaora Elonu

Adaora Elonu is one of the most experienced players in the team having won two Championships in 2017 and 2019 as well as Bronze medal in 1015.  She us a shooting guard and she plays for Uni Girona CB.
