Egypt, Salah afraid of Super Eagles says Ahmed Musa

Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa believes Liverpool forward Mo Salah poses no threat, and that Egypt would be concerned when they face the Super Eagles in the All African Cup of Nations.

Musa made the remarks during a press conference in Abuja on Tuesday.

“I know everybody will be talking about Salah, but if you look at our own side, we have a lot of players that they will be worried about,” Musa said.

“Definitely, we don’t have to think about Salah. They have to think about our own players.

“They only talk about Salah, but we have Chukwueze and a lot of players from the wing that are more dangerous, and their defenders too will be thinking about us,” he added.

Group D comprises Egypt, Nigeria, Sudan, and Guinea-Bissau. The Super Eagles will face Egypt in the AFCON, which will be held in Cameroon on January 11.

Salah will captain Egypt, the seven-time AFCON champion, against the Nigerian Super Eagles in the first group stage match on Tuesday, 11th of January.
