Banks, schools, markets, and other public places in some parts of the Southeast are currently under lock in compliance with IPOB’s “sit at home” order.
The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) noted that the “stay at the home” exercise will continue until their leader, Nnamdi Kanu is released.
The group also sounded a note of warning that anyone who fails to abide by the order will be dealt with.

Nnamdi Kanu was arrested in Kenya in June and was extradited to Nigeria. He is currently being charged on the grounds of treasonable felony leveled against him by the Federal Government based on his call for the independence of Biafra (the southeast).
He is currently being held with the Department of State Security (DSS) who failed to produce him at his court hearing last month. The DSS cited logistics as the reason why they could not bring the IPOB leader to court.
