#EndSars: 50 recruits to one piece of fish – Watch the heart-breaking story of how recruits at the Nigerian Police College live and survive on 150naira a day (Video)
As the #EndSars protests enter the 12th day on Monday, a video has surfaced online of the terrible living conditions of new recruits at the Nigerian Police College which provides a probable sociological reasons for why the police behave without empathy for the public they’re supposed to serve.
In the video, some recruits are seen displaying the food they’re served with as many as 50 of them being made to share the head of a fish.
They also allegedly live on a budget of a measly one hundred and fifty naira budget for each recruit by the College’s administration.
The date of the video is unknown but there’s no evidence to prove that the condition of living and the shabby environment have been improved.
A better wage structure and improved living condition for the Police is one of the demand of the #EndSars agitators who insist that there’s a correlation between how the Police is treated and how they, in turn, treat Nigerians.
