Bayelsa United on the hand won by the same score margin at home to Tunisia’s Sfaxien.
Victory Beniangba’s 56th minute goal gave the Aiteo Cup champions the slim lead ahead of the second league a week from now.
Enyimba and Bayelsa United will both look to get another victory or get a favorable result as they hope to qualify for the group stage of the competition.
