Enyimba, Bayelsa United record victories in CAF Confederation Cup!

Nigerian club sides Enyimba and Bayelsa United both recorded victories in their respective CAF Confederation Cup ties.

The former League Champions beat Senegalese side, Diambars 1 nil away from courtesy of Cyril Olisema’s late penalty.

Olisema’s penalty hands former Super Eagles winger, Finidi George a win in his first game as manager of the Aba Elephants.

Bayelsa United on the hand won by the same score margin at home to Tunisia’s Sfaxien.

Victory Beniangba’s 56th minute goal gave the Aiteo Cup champions the slim lead ahead of the second league a week from now.

Enyimba and Bayelsa United will both look to get another victory or get a favorable result as they hope to qualify for the group stage of the competition.
