Enyimba’s winger, Anayo Iwuala has completed a move to current Tunisian league champions, Esperance on a three year deal for a reported fee of $500,000 (N203,000m) few years after joining the club.
Esperance announced the arrival of the 22-year-old forward on their verified Twitter page a few hours ago.

Enyimba also confirmed the departure of the player via a statement:
Enyimba Football Club can confirm today that forward Anayo Iwuala has completed a permanent move to Tunisian club, Esperance Sportive de Tunis.
Anayo joined Enyimba in August 2019 and made his debut on December 8 of the same year in the CAF Confederation Cup fixture against FC San Pedro.
The 22-year-old went on to make fifty-seven appearances in Enyimba colours. In the just concluded season, Anayo scored six goals and made sixteen assists as The People’s Elephant finished second in the Nigerian Professional Football League and reached the quarterfinals of the CAF Confederation Cup.
Enyimba FC Chairman, Felix Anyansi Agwu said, “Anayo is a symbol of hardwork and dedication. During his time with us, he gave everything, that is why the fans love him so much. He is a strong and talented player who has what it takes to succeed anywhere and we wish him well as he takes up his new challenge.”
Anayo Iwuala joined Enyimba from Delta Force in 2019. He featured 52 times and scored five goals for the two-time CAF Champions League champions.
The winger made his debut fir the Super Eagles of Nigeria in March during the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers. He came on as a second-half substitute in the team’s 1 nil victory over Benin Republic.
