The Cameroonian Football Federation (FECAFOOT) President, Samuel Eto’o has praised the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon following their solid display against Serbia at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

Cameroon played out a 3-3 draw with Serbia at the Al Janoub Stadium on Monday November 28.

Jean-Charles Casteletto scored the first goal of the game for Cameroon in the 29th minute and Strahinja Pavloic equalised for Serbia 17 minutes later.

Sergej Millinkovic-Savic made it 2-1 in third minute of added time in the first half.

Aleksander Mitrovic gave Serbia a 3-1 lead eight minutes after the second half resumed.

Cameroonian striker Vincent Aboubakar who was subbed in scored in the 63rd minute and assisted Erik Choupo-Moting to make it 3-3 in the 66th minute.

After the game Eto’o took to his official Twitter handle to praise the Indomitable Lions.

“ONE TEAM ONE DREAM Through the highs and lows we will rise together,” he Tweeted.

Cameroon have one point after two games played at Qatar 2022. The Indomitable Lions play Brazil in their third Group game on Friday December 2 at the Lusail Stadium.
