Fatai Osho Leaves Position As Head Coach Of Akwa United

Seasoned Nigerian football coach, Fatai Osho has resigned as the head coach of Nigeria Premier Football League side, Akwa United.

Osho’s resignation comes after The Promose Keepers poor start to ths 2023/2024 football season.

The former Remo Stars manager was hired in the summer but has failed to achieve decent results for the former league champions with three wins from 14 games.

Confirming his resignation, Fatai Osho took to X page to thank the chairman of the club, Elder Paul Bassey for giving him the opportunity to led Akwa United.

“ELDER PAUL BASSEY, Sir, I can’t thank you enough for my time at Akwa United FC. You’re a rare breed that deserves all happiness and success. We gave it our all but it was not to be.This temporary set back will be followed by unimaginable success. I will forever appreciate you “🙏

Akwa United are currently 17th on the log with 14 points after 14 matches. The Promise Keepers will take on Sunshine Stars on matchday 15 of the league.
