Nigeria’s youth team, the Flying Eagles have been placed in Group D of the 2023 U-20 World Cup.
The Flying Eagles are in Group D alongside Italy, Brazil and the Dominican Republic.
The aforementioned World Cup will be held in Argentina from May 20 to June 11.
The Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) made the announcement on their Twitter handle.
The Flying Eagles qualified for the tournament after coming third at the 2023 U-20 AFCON.
The Flying Eagles were runners-up at the FIFA U-20 World Cup in Saudi Arabia 1989 and Canada 2005.
