Nigeria football fans have put out different opinions on social media on the fate of the Super Eagles following the team’s loss to Rwanda.

The Super Eagles ended their 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers on a disappointing note with a 2-1 loss to Rwanda in Uyo.

Samuel Chukwueze’s second half opener was erased and overturned in a flash as the visitors scored two goals in three minutes.

The loss to Rwanda have decided opinions on whether interim coach Austin Eguavoen should continue as coach or not ahead of the FIFA World Cup qualifiers which resumes next year.

A section of the fans believe that the Nigeria Football Federation need to hire a foreign ciach for the Super Eagles if they are keen on qualifying for the 2026 World Cup.
