Francisca Ordega into Russian Cup final with CSKA Moscow

Super Falcons wide forward/winger Francisca Ordega was instrumental as she helped her side CSKA Moscow qualify for the Russian Women’s Cup final.

Ordega scored one of the goals – the first precisely as her side came from behind to beat Zvezda 2005 2-1 on Friday.

The winger started the comeback with 10 minutes left on the clock as she restored parity in the keenly contested encounter.

Just when Zvezda thought they will drag the match into extra time, Luliia Pleshkova scored an 89th-minute goal to give CSKA the victory.

CSKA Moscow will play in the final against one of MacleansChinonyerem Lokomotiv Moscow or Zenit after crashing out in the wound of sixteen last year.

Ordega will look to cap her impressive performances this season with trophy after sco4ing 5 goals in the Women too division and 2 goals in the Cup.
