Born in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, Fred Rodriguez alias “Pastor Fred” joined Manchester United in the summer of 2018 from Ukrainian Champions: Shaktar Donestk for a reported fee of 52 million pounds but the Brazilian struggled in the Brazilian box to box midfielder struggled to impress at the club under then Manager: Jose Mourinho as Fred struggled to adapt to the pace of the Premier League.
However, it seems there has been a massive turn around as the Brazilian now forms an integral part of Ole Gunnar Solksjaer’s Manchester United this season and he is regarded as one of the best midfielders not just in the league but also in Europe this season with 52% tackles rate, 210 recoveries, and 25 recoveries.
