Iheanacho, Ndidi missing as Liverpool's 64 League matches unbeaten run at Anfield continues after victory over Liecester City! 2

Kelechi Iheanacho was an unused substitute while midfielder Wilfred Ndidi didn’t make the squad as Liverpool continued their unbeaten run in the league at Anfield with a comprehensive and commanding 3 nil victory over Leicester City.

Diogo Jota for the umpteenth time showed again that he’s worth every penny Liverpool spent on him.

The Portuguese forward doubled Liverpool’s lead after Jonny Evans own goal in the 16th minute as he headed home Andy Robertson’s cross towards the near post.

The away side had a couple of chances but failed to breach Liverpool’s makeshift defence.
