Amidst the current Twitter ban in the country, the Federal Government has launched a made-in-Nigeria Android mobile phone known as ITF Mobile.
The device was presented to President Muhammadu Buhari by the Minister of Trade and Investment, Mr. Adeniyi Adebayo just before the Federal Executive meeting.
According to him, the ITF Mobile is one of the 12 indigenous android devices produced with local materials sourced by the electrical/electronics technology division of the Industrial Training Fund’s (ITF) Model Skills Training Centre.
Mr Adebayo said;
“12 indigenous mobile cell phones produced by the Model Skills Training Centre of the Industrial Training Fund, an agency under Ministry of Industry Trade and Investment, were launched.”
“It gives me great pleasure Mr President, to present you with one of the phones.”
