Kano Pillars and Heartland FC have emerged the winners of the 2023 Nigerian National League (NNL) Super8 Playoffs. Kano Pillars topped the Northern Conference with six points from three matches while Heartland FC topped the Southern Conference with seven points after three games.
Consequently Kano Pillars and second placed team in the Northern Conference Katsina United have qualified for next season’s Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) season.
Heartland FC and second placed team in the Southern Conference Sporting Lagos have qualified for the NPFL.
DMD FC finished third in the Northern Conference with a total of three points from three games and EFCC FC were fourth with three points also from three games.
Stormers SC also finished third in the Southern Conference with four points after three matches while FC One Rocket were last place would zero points after three matches.
Heartland FC and Kano Pillars will battle to determine the overall winner in an epic final on Friday, July 7 at the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba, Delta State.
