Kwara United secure first away win as new #NPFL21 season begins! See full results 👇

After a very long hiatus due to the ban on Sport by the Government as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the new season of the Nigerian Professional Football League; #NPFL21 has started.

Six matches were played on Matchday 1 of the NPFL21 across different centres and it witnessed some interesting results as well as new records.

Here are the highlights of all the matches below;

• Promise Damala of Wikki Tourists scored the first goal of the season in the 5th minute.
• Reuben Nicodemus of Nasarawa Utd scored the first brace of the season in the victory over Wikki Tourists.
• Kwara United recorded the first away of the season with a 2 nil victory away at Plateau United. Goals courtesy of Jide Fatokun and Michael Ohanu secured all three points for the away side.
