
Premier League side, Leeds United have announced the signing of Remo Stars versatile defender, Leonard Ngenge.
Leonard Ngenge rose to prominence from Ikorodu City before making a move to Remo Stars last summer.
Leeds United announced the arrival of Leonard Ngenge in a statement via its official X page and website.
“Leeds United are pleased to announce the signing of Leonard Ngenge, who joins the club’s Academy after penning a deal until the end of the 2026/27 season.”
“The defender makes the move to West Yorkshire from his native Nigeria, having made seven appearances in all competitions this term for Remo Stars FC.”
“The centre-back has featured twice for his country at senior level, making his debut in a clash with Senegal last year before also facing Sudan.”

Leonard Ngenge plays a left-footed central defender but can operate as a left-back making him one of the emerging talents in the Nigeria Premier Football League.
Ngenge featured for the Super Eagles at the 2025 Championship of African Nations where Nigeria lost two of three matches before exiting the tournament.
