Lionel Messi and Asisat Oshoala model Barcelona’s new kit for 2020/21 season video
Argentine superstar Lionel Messi and Nigeria’s Asisat Oshoala are among the players to model the new Barcelona first kit for the upcoming 2020/21 season.
The new first team kit has the same design for both the men and women’s team and was released by international sportswear giants Nike on Tuesday, July 14th.
The new apparel is different in design from the ones used this season as it brings back the longer stripes down the middle and has a silky glow in fabric.
The statement on the official Barcelona site about the design of the new kit said, “FC Barcelona officially presents the new jersey for the 2020/21 season, whose design is inspired by the 1920s, considered the Club’s first Golden Era.”
Messi who is the face of the team features in the advert for the Nike created jersey despite being signed to their rivals Adidas.
Oshoala who is signed to Nike is one of the female players used to model the outfit.
The caption that came along the new jersey said, “Our new first kit 20/21”
